Positive: A very nice little 2 bedroom apartment in Sunset Heights. To access the neighbourhood one needs to pass 24/7 manned security gates. The apartment has off street parking for one medium sized car although it is safe enough to just park in front of the gate. Both bedrooms have air conditioning as well as remote controlled fans. The small lounge has a remote controlled fan only. The main bedroom has an ensuite, and a second toilet/shower is accessible via the lounge. The rooms have ample wardrobe space and the main bedroom has a smart TV fitted to the wall. The apartment has a little kitchen with fridge, a 2 pit stove, microwave, toaster, pots, pans, cutlery etc. A washing machine is available on the rear veranda. Electricity is on a prepaid system and water usage is calculated upon leaving. So, as for the amenities, location and price it is a perfect little base from where to do your daily outings around the island. The best part of the experience however, is the amazing service that you receive from start to finish. The term "above and beyond" doesn't even start to describe the efforts that were put in to make our stay comfortable. The couple that looks after the apartment went out of their way to ensure we had the best possible experience. KLM had left our luggage in Amsterdam, which was a huge let down, especially for my wife. Mrs Cysline went and returned within less than an hour with bags of (new) clothes for my wife to choose from, so she could have at least something to keep her until the luggage arrived. She would regularly reach out to ask if everything was in order and even pro-actively offered a late check-out as she knew our flight was leaving late in the afternoon. Mind you; she was able to this because there was no back-to back booking: so don't expect this as a given. If I recommend it? Yes, yes, yes and yes! Wholeheartedly!

Positive: The house is nice, comfortable and the main bedroom is spacious and modern. The staff is friendly.
Negative: There were extra charges: electricity, water and cleaning that was not mentioned in the booking information. There are some things that need fixing. The main bedroom light, toaster does not work and there are a few things that are broken.

Positive: great location. the apartment looks exactly as on the photo and it’s located in the yard of the home owners.
Negative: unfortunately they had leakage in the bathroom and also the bedroom ceiling light didn’t work. other than that the apartment was ok. The way they charge for water and electricity is super confusing. so apparently this is completely excluded and you need to return the meter count exactly the same way you received it or they will charge you. the calculation for the extra charges was also not clear. I was charged $10 for water for 1 week off usage, a $10 exit cleaning fee. I didn’t mind the charges, yet would appreciate if this was mentioned on the platform for transparency prior to booking.
